Commercial rooftop solar qualification.
Elevate Solar assesses commercial rooftops and qualifies facilities before introducing them to solar, roofing and specialist partners. System Current designed the workflow for both audiences and the copy that sets out what a preliminary assessment does and does not establish.

Assessing a rooftop from limited information
Commercial rooftop solar has two audiences with different questions. Property owners want to know whether their building is worth investigating. Installers, roofers and engineers want opportunities that are real before they spend time on them.
Most of what determines a project's viability — structural capacity, interconnection, permitting, utility rate structure — cannot be established from public data or a form.
The workflow therefore had to produce a useful preliminary view from limited inputs, while marking clearly which figures are illustrative and which items require professional review.
The commercial model also had to be clear to potential partners, with commercial arrangements described as options currently under evaluation.
System Current’s scope.
Service architecture
A single site serving two audiences — property owners and partners — without either proposition diluting the other.
Qualification design
Nine explicit criteria that decide whether a facility is worth a partner introduction, published openly rather than kept internal.
Methodology disclosure
A section separating inputs that can be estimated from public data from those requiring utility bills, roof plans, a site visit or professional review.
Intake
A facility assessment request path for owners and a separate partnership inquiry path for the partner side.
Assessment labelling
The preliminary opportunity view is labelled an illustrative concept, with capacity figures marked illustrative and qualification marked as requiring human review.
Partner framing
The potential partner network and possible commercial arrangements described as options under evaluation, not signed deals.

Assessment inputs
The methodology section lists what the assessment considers — usable area and setbacks, obstructions, solar irradiance, estimated panel density, generation and losses, utility rate structure, roof age and condition, and structural, electrical and permitting review needs — and states plainly that some inputs can be estimated from public data while others require utility bills, roof plans, a site visit, or review by an installer, engineer, utility or authority.

Partner network
A facility becomes valuable to a partner once basic fit, authority, information, timing and expectations are established. The nine criteria make that explicit — an authorized representative has expressed interest, consumption is material, the decision-maker is identifiable, the customer understands professional review is required. The partner network is presented as the categories an opportunity might route to.

Scope of the assessment
The live site states this directly: Elevate does not represent the assessment as an automated engineering design. The initial service is analyst-led, and the qualification step is marked as requiring human review.
Included
- Produce a preliminary view of rooftop solar potential from available information
- Qualify commercial fit, authority, timing and interest before an introduction
- Explain which inputs are estimated and which require professional review
- Route qualified facilities toward relevant solar, roofing and specialist partners
Handled by others
- Provide an engineering design or final feasibility determination
- Replace contractor, engineering, utility, permitting or financial review
- Guarantee project economics, energy production or approval
- Claim installed capacity, savings or completed project results
Business automation

ExploreVancouver web design
A two-sided commercial proposition designed as one coherent site.
ExploreThis case study describes the workflow and the design decisions behind it. Because none of it is independently established, nothing is claimed about installed capacity, energy savings, project economics, partner counts or completed solar projects.
