Vancouver web design and development

Websites built around
the business behind them.

System Current designs and develops research-led websites from Vancouver. Before deciding what to build, we examine the business, customers, competitors, current site, search presence and the systems around it. The result is a website designed as part of the company’s customer and operating experience — not just a collection of template sections.

What the work should improve
  • A clearer explanation of what the business does and why customers should care
  • Page structure based on customer decisions instead of a generic template
  • A stronger path from search, referral or campaign traffic to the next useful action
  • A maintainable technical foundation instead of a disposable visual mockup
  • Search, analytics and conversion measurement built into the implementation where relevant
  • Room to connect forms, CRM, customer workflows, automation and software later
Typical deliverables
  • Business, website, customer and competitor research before page architecture is finalized
  • Website strategy, information architecture and conversion planning
  • Responsive design and modern website development
  • Service, product, project, case-study or location page creation where relevant
  • Quote, booking, enquiry or other customer-action form implementation
  • Core technical SEO, metadata, structured data, sitemap and redirects
  • Analytics and conversion-event setup where included in scope
  • Launch support plus optional ongoing website management and system integration
How System Current works

A practical implementation process.

The scope is based on the existing website, tools, customer journey and operating constraints. The goal is to improve a real business process, not add technology without a clear use.

01

Research

Review the business, current website, customer journey, market, competitors, search presence, current technology and goals before deciding what should change.

02

Structure

Define the pages, positioning, content hierarchy, calls to action and information customers need before choosing a design direction.

03

Build

Design and implement the responsive site, forms, integrations, metadata and measurement included in the approved scope.

04

Launch and improve

Migrate carefully, protect useful URLs, verify measurement and prioritize the next improvements using real customer and search data.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before the project starts.

How much does a Vancouver business website cost?

System Current quotes each website around the research, number and complexity of pages, content requirements, forms, integrations, migration work and ongoing support. A written scope is approved before development begins.

Do you only work with Vancouver businesses?

No. System Current is based in Vancouver and serves Metro Vancouver, but appropriate website projects can also be delivered remotely elsewhere in British Columbia, Canada and through suitable remote engagements.

Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?

Those platforms can be adequate for simple sites. The difficult work is deciding the positioning, page architecture, customer journey, copy, search structure, measurement and integrations. System Current handles that research and implementation rather than leaving the owner to assemble a template and hope the pieces form a coherent business website.

Can you redesign an existing Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or older website?

Yes. The existing site, domain, search visibility, content, forms and useful assets are reviewed first so the rebuild keeps what is worth preserving and migrates important URLs carefully.

Do you provide SEO with the website?

An appropriate build can include foundational technical SEO such as page titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap support, redirects and indexability checks. Broader local SEO, content and authority work are scoped separately when needed.
